The ICTS facilitates the ongoing process of transforming existing research and training activities at UC Irvine into a recognizable, integrated, and flexible home for clinical translational science across the campus and throughout the community. Our principal goal is to ensure that new and existing resources in clinical and translational science are effectively and rapidly matched with the creative energy of UC Irvine basic scientists, clinical investigators, and community partners to improve medical care and public health and to train the next generation of clinical researchers.

• Help obtain ICTS resources such as:

  1. Clinic space for seeing research subjects
  2. Help with medical bioinformatics
  3. Biostatistical consultation services
  4. Access the core ICTS laboratories
  5. Access to imaging services
  6. Access to the human performance laboratory
  7. Access to nutrition consultation services
  8. Access to the Normal Blood Donor program

• Help with the preparation of IRB documents and informed consent documents.
• Help with Data and Safety Monitoring Plans (DSMP).
• Provide a Data Safety Monitoring Board as needed.
• Provide access to regulatory consultations, such as with FDA
