2014 Community Award


ICTS Community Award

The UC Irvine Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) is proud to announce the call for annual Community Research Awards for Outstanding Community Partnership. This is a research partnership comprised of campus researcher(s) and community organization that has demonstrated exceptional collaboration in CBPR.

Nominations are welcome from both community members and UCI staff and faculty.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

Selection Criteria

The selection committee, consisting of members of the ICTS Steering Committee and the OC Alliance for Community Health, is interested in specific examples of extraordinary dedication to community outreach and CBPR.

Nomination Process

All members of the community and UCI faculty are welcome to submit a nomination for a community member, organization or UC Irvine faculty the nominator. Self nominations are encouraged.

Nominations must include:

  • A completed online nomination form
  • Up to three (3) nomination letters, each no longer than 1000 words; letters must include the first and last names, email addresses, mailing addresses, and contact telephone numbers of the nominee.
