New to 2016—Oral Presentations!

For 2016, there will be opportunities for oral presentations. We will highlight 5-7 studies that focus on potentially transformative topics in translational sciences. Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts and evaluated based on the following questions:

  • Does the study represent a potential breakthrough in understanding a particular disease or disease process?
  • Have the investigators identified a new approach to biomarkers with potential usefulness across a spectrum of human disease?
  • Is the research likely to alter the way the public views health, diseases, and prevention?

Those selected will present their work via a 10-minute presentation with open discussion. To be considered for this opportunity, be sure to select the box “Interested in Oral Presentation” when submitting your abstract.
