UC CAI NHLBI Tech Grant
UC CAI anticipates awarding up to six Technology Development Grants worth up to $200K each for development of drugs; devices, including wireless; diagnostics, and tools that address heart, lung and blood diseases. Pre-app submission period is Dec 1-8. Read the NHLBI RFA here.

UC CAI NIDA Tech Grant
UC CAI anticipates awarding up to three Technology Development Grants worth up to $200K each for discovery and development of medications for the treatment of substance use disorders (SUDs); technologies, tools and novel patient systems and devices are also encouraged. Pre-app submission period is Dec 1-8. Read the NIDA RFA here.

Eligibility - Faculty in all series and ranks at UC Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco are eligible. Postdoctoral scholars are eligible to submit applications as Co-PI with a faculty PI.

It is administered from UCLA and supported by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the CTSAs at UC Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. It is one of three such centers in the U.S.
