We are now accepting abstracts for the Annual Translational Science Research Day sponsored by the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS). Don't miss out on the chance to share your work, gain exposure, and find new opportunities for collaboration. Due to space limitations, only the top 75 submissions will be presented during the conference. Submit early!

Abstract Deadline Extended to March 16, 2018

Poster Presention
During the 2018 Translation Science Research Day, there will be a dedicated time to allow UCI and local affiliates the opportunity to share cutting edge and innovate research.

Technology Demonstrations
Along with space to present a poster, those selected for the technology presentation will be given additional space to have hands on demonstrations of the technologies developed.

To be considered for this opportunity, please be sure to select the box “Interested in Technology Demo” when submitting your abstract

Oral Presentations
We will highlight up to 5 studies that focus on potentially transformative topics in translational sciences. Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts and evaluated based on the following questions:

  • Does the study represent a potential breakthrough in understanding a particular disease or disease process?
  • Have the investigators identified a new approach to biomarkers with potential usefulness across a spectrum of human disease?
  • Is the research likely to alter the way the public views health, diseases, and prevention?

Those selected will present their work via a 10-minute presentation with open discussion. To be considered for this opportunity, please be sure to select the box “Interested in Oral Presentation” when submitting your abstract.
